In the mid-1980s, Donna L. Allie launched Team Clean as a means to make ends meet post-graduation from Wilberforce University. She quickly realized that she had a love for the industry and a talent for business after her first commercial contract in 1985 with the Upper Main Line YMCA sparked a fire. Over the past 40+ years, she has grown the company to a highly reputable, multi-million dollar Philadelphia institution that has cleaned for a vast amount of locations including the National Constitution Center, the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Kimmel Center and the home of the Philadelphia Phillies: Citizens Bank Park. Ms. Allie has won countless awards over the years for both her work with Team Clean and her dedication to the community. The District Minority Small Business Person of the Year, the Harriet Tubman Trailblazer Award, the National Freedom Day Community Service Award, the City of Philadelphia’s Supply, Service and Equipment Award, the Main Line Martin Luther King Jr. Association’s Business Leadership Award, and the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Women of Distinction Award are just a few of the presigious honors that have been bestowed upon her. Team Clean continues to grow each year thanks to her knowledge, dedication, and investment in her employees.
As the CEO of a number of federal, state, and city economic development organizations, Aqil Sabur developed and coordinated financing packages that leveraged hundreds of millions of dollars in private and public capital. Additionally, he helped to create a number of financial institutions that included banks, venture funds, micro-finance funds and credit unions. After serving in these prestigious positions, Aqil Sabur brought his expertise to Team Clean. Now the Vice President & CFO. Mr. Sabur is a native of South Philadelphia and counts his expertise in accounting, administration, banking, economic development, entrepreneurship, finance, and minority business as just a few of the skills he brings to the table. His vast skill set allows Team Clean to thrive and grow consistently each and every year.
Sales & Operations Manager
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Philadelphia College of Textiles & Sciences (now Thomas Jefferson University), John Forth spent many years working in the data networking field. He became an expert in the commercial cleaning industry over his ten years working as an estimator and project manager and joined Team Clean as the Sales & Operations Manager 2019. John works closely with our leadership team on a daily basis and ensures that all clients have an incredible experience while utilizing Team Clean’s services. Additionally, he is certified in OSHA 30 and Aerial Lift operations and is qualified as a specialist in Biohazard and COVID cleaning.
